Divisor — where it appears

A number that divides another exactly, which is what a repeat has to be of a warp's body if the pattern is to fit. Divisors are rare — a body of a few thousand ends has a few dozen in the range a design might use — so a repeat chosen for any other reason leaves a remainder, and the remainder averages half a repeat.
